Environmental Policy
Fiat Growth, LLC · Effective · Reviewed annually · Owner: President
Purpose
Fiat Growth is a professional services firm of approximately 25 people providing growth marketing and consulting services to fintech and insurtech companies. We have no manufacturing operations, no premises under our operational control, no vehicle fleet, and a largely distributed workforce.
This policy states how we manage the environmental impacts that are within our control, and is honest about the limits of that control.
Scope
This policy applies organization-wide to Fiat Growth, LLC and covers our direct operations. It does not extend to affiliated entities that are separately capitalized and not consolidated in our financial reporting.
Our operating boundary
We do not own or lease premises under our operational control. Our workforce is distributed, and our only shared workspace is a small number of desks sublicensed at a flat monthly rate within another organization’s office. We hold no utility accounts, no submetering, and no responsibility for building systems, heating, cooling, or refrigerants at that location. We operate no vehicles and no on-site fuel combustion.
As a result, our direct emissions are minimal, and our environmental impact arises principally from business travel, purchased services, and employee commuting.
Commitments
Regulatory compliance
We comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and mandatory standards in the jurisdictions where we operate.
Travel
Video conferencing is our default for client and internal meetings. Business travel is by exception, where an in-person meeting materially serves the engagement.
Procurement
Where service offerings are otherwise comparable on price, capability, and fit, we prefer vendors that publish environmental commitments. This is a stated preference in vendor selection, not a supplier requirement, and we do not currently audit supplier environmental performance.
Disclosure
We respond to environmental disclosure requests from clients and partners, and treat those requests as a legitimate part of serving enterprise customers.
Responsibility
Responsibility for environmental matters sits with the President, who oversees this policy and manages responses to client and partner environmental disclosure requests. Given the firm’s size and minimal direct footprint, environmental matters are addressed as they arise rather than on a fixed reporting schedule.
Review
This policy is reviewed annually by the President and updated if our operating model, premises arrangements, or disclosure obligations change materially.
